Discover the art of soap making in this fun and engaging 1-hour beginner-friendly class! You’ll get a hands-on introduction to the craft while learning the essentials, including:

• What handmade soap is

• A simple overview of cold-process soap making

• Basic ingredients and equipment

• Essential lye safety practices

• How to customize soap with colour and fragrance

Together, we’ll create a custom 300g batch of cold process soap (equivalent to three full-sized bars) that you’ll take home to cure (for 4 weeks), cut and enjoy (or gift!). Choose from a beautiful variety of fragrance oils, vibrant mica colours, and decorative add-ins to design a soap that’s truly one-of-a-kind.

Come ready to get creative and leave with something handmade, beautiful, and uniquely yours!

Ready to get creative and make some soap? This fun, hands-on workshop takes soap making to the next level with a little extra creativity!

First, you'll get creative with soap dough, using a variety of fun molds to make your own decorations while we discuss the basics of cold process soap including a bit of interesting history, some science and lye safety rules.

Then it's time to make some soap! You choose your favourite colours and fragrances, and create your own 300 g loaf of handmade soap (about 3 full sized bars) using your soap dough creations as embellishments, embeds and decorations.

Perfect for beginners, friends, groups, celebrations, or anyone who loves getting a little crafty!

You'll learn:

• The basics of cold-process soap making

• How soap is made

• Essential safety practices

• How to work with colour and fragrance

You'll make:

• Your own soap dough decorations using a selection of molds

• 300 g loaf of handmade soap

You'll leave with:
Your own one-of-a-kind handmade soap loaf, complete with your custom decorations, and a few new soap making skills!
