Prickled Purple combines delicate violets with the fresh, subtly sweet scent of cactus pear. It's a beautiful balance of soft florals and fruity notes that's light, refreshing, and a little unexpected.
The gorgeous purple colour comes from alkanet root infused in oil, a natural botanical colourant that changes from red to purple when introduced to the alkaline environment of soap making. We've also added kaolin clay to give the lather a soft, silky feel.
Like all our artisan soaps, Prickled Purple is handmade in small batches using the traditional cold-process method. Our carefully balanced blend of plant-based oils creates a rich, creamy lather that gently cleanses without leaving your skin feeling stripped or dry. Cold-process soap also retains naturally occurring glycerin, which helps attract moisture to your skin.
To help your handmade soap last longer, store it on a well-draining soap dish and allow it to dry between uses.
